As we all know, life doesn’t always go to plan. Says she, as she sits at her laptop with a coughing, snuffling child rustling around in the background (on a school day). Sometimes you’re just going to have to work with the fact that the circumstances aren’t ideal and life can be unexpectedly pants!

A couple of weeks ago I wrote to you full of glee and beans, brimming to tell you of my newest group programme. Remember what happened next? Nothing. That’s what happened. Complete and utter radio silence at my end. OOOOhwwweeeee! Ha!

The machinations behind the scenes were running full steam I can tell ya. November was my moon chart appointed Launch Month (what? You don’t have a moon chart??) and it had determined big things were coming my way.

Aaaaand yep, big things did happen, so long as you count two family PCR tests (there’s only three of us) – thankfully, both negative. One hand injury (that was me, dammit) and a pet rehoming (Waaaaahhh!). But launch energy? Not so much.

Anyhoo, the upshot of it all? I’m not in a place to guide a group at the moment – I mean seriously, I am great at holding space for a group, but the other day my kid tipped all her colour spectrum organised crayons out of their case and put them randomly back in. Any old colour, in any old space, any way around.

People, I was LITERALLY counting the hours down to her bedtime so I could spend a quality hour on my own, sorting them back into spectrum order. Not because she wants them like that, but because I couldn’t think of anything more soothing in the hurly burly right then. In the end I managed to convince myself not to do it.

Seriously.

The

HORROR

(or is it just me?)

As you can appreciate, if I’m jangled by this low level of chaos, I’m not ideally placed for group work right now. Group work is best when it feels spacious and organised, not fritzing out over a box of pens!

Having said that, the energy that really wants to sort the crayon box is the same energy that allows me to be meticulous.

The delight in taking my time and enjoying the small details is also the energy that makes me great in a one to one situation – it makes me alert to the questions that up until 5 seconds before, didn’t even know they needed to be asked.

SO, if you have a smorgasbord of emotional, mental and physical gunk that needs sifting through and reframing then I AM YOUR GAL! The love that I put into unravelling art box haphazardness is the love I put into coaxing, cheerleading and smoothing out the wrinkles in your perception of life.

Some of you are going to read this newsletter and think to yourself “Carrie’s gone a bit batshit again” but not all of you. I know full well that I’m not the only one out there that occasionally feels boxed by something akin to a mishmashed container of colours.

When I look at the situation like I’m my own client, I understand that my desire to sort and organise is simply a symptom of all the ‘stuff’ I’ve had going on, and rather than being a ‘problem’, it’s a soothing technique. If you’ve ever found yourself power cleaning whilst crying, or having an overwhelming desire to clear out ALL the cupboards or file every sheet of available paperwork, you’ll recognise that these are regulating responses that allow us to impose order when we feel that the world is out of control.

And you know what, merely by acknowledging this, it calms, soothes and for me, meant I didn’t have to sort the crayons out (even though they’re soooooo pretty when they’re in a rainbow).

In the same light, I see you coping with overwhelm the best you can, because I’m no different. I know that you’re not the only one who is trying to juggle a million tasks whilst at the same time wondering when the fun starts (newsflash, it starts when you choose to prioritise your own fun). I’m here to reassure you that when you feel discontent, frustrated or stressed beyond belief there is a way through it (and it doesn’t involve throwing the metaphorical box of crayons away).

If you’re called to work with an alchemist who will be with you and your jumble of work or life discontent, who will comb through it to identify the major challenges and the biggest turn key moments, then it’s time we worked together. We can identify the major stressors and I will talk you through the most significant actions for you to take to quell the feelings of frustration and lift things so they feel more magical.

Because I love this work so much, I’m offering you a super deal of two calls 1to1 coaching calls for £99.

The first call is 60 minutes, we’ll use that time to talk through what’s occurring and make a plan together. Then 2 weeks later we’ll have our second call. This one is swift, it’s 30 minutes and its purpose is to help you stay motivated and keep on making simple changes, such as creating great boundaries or ensuring you continue to make time for you and your wellbeing.

Like I said, that’s two one to one calls for just £99. I can’t remember the last time I offered one to one work with me at such a sweet price.

I’ve got 5 available slots to start before Christmas, so click here now and get it started.

And if you have a friend who you know is an absolute hero, knocking that family/work/life thang out of the park and feeling more than a bit knackered because of it, feel free to let them know that I’m on hand to help.

If you’re keen or have questions, just ping me an email and let’s do this!

Big love,

Carrie
