Like many households across the UK we’ve had Covid. To be honest, the past couple of months has felt like an extended game of Wink Murder, waiting for the seemingly inevitable to happen. In my clinic I’ve had to rearrange appointments and had plenty of appointments rearranged by clients with Covid too.
Apart from the lingering cough one of the most common post Covid symptoms I’ve seen is a tightness in the chest and shoulders, so today I’ve got a quick video for you to help you shift some of that sticky body gunk. Try it out and let me know what you think.
With all the coughs, lurgs and viruses going around, now is certainly the time to be listening to your body. As well as taking time to rest and making sure you drink plenty of water, I’d like you to consider saying ‘No’ to extra commitments if you’re feeling low energy.
Putting yourself first can feel selfish if you’re not used to doing so. You may like you’re being unfair to others, especially if you tend to nurture everyone else around you and put their needs first, but you’re really not. Please recognise that you are worthy of rest and recuperation, a small amount of inconvenience now can hold off a lot of strife in the future.
